Saving Water in the garden

Many people still water there garden with a normal garden hose connected to the mains, why? Rainwater is by far better your garden as is natural and the best part its FREE.

I collect as much rainwater as i can during the winter months as though summer we might face a dry spell and get any rain for day which you'll garden might pay the price for.

One ways to collect rainwater is simply leave an open top water tank or bucket out in the garden and collect the rain as it falls. Put a tank under a dripping gutter if you've got one or a dripping anything.

Another option is top attach a divertor to your downpipe and divert the rainwater into a water butt or an open top tank if you want.

There you have it just a few ways to collect your own water so you can re-use it back in your garden without using a drop of mains.

What are you ideas about saving water for the garden?
